SERVICE PORTER - LOT ATTENDANT

Greenway Autos Ford, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, and GMC of Morris has been a family-owned business since 1967. We are looking to expand our team by adding a service porter/lot attendant position.

As a member of our team, you are responsible for working closely with our General Manager, Sales Manager, Service Managers, and other members of our store.

Basic Responsibilities Include:

• Greet customers and maintain professional decorum in accordance with dealership standards.
• Maintain New and Used vehicle inventory in accordance with vehicle standards.
  • Arrange vehicles between and around lots.
  • Wash vehicle exteriors.
  • Vacuum and clean vehicle interiors.
  • Top-off vehicle fluids as needed.
• Vacuum service customer vehicles.
• Pick-up/drop-off customers.
• Stock showroom and customer waiting area amenities (stock water bottles/refreshments and snacks).
• Deliver/retrieve vehicles as requested/directed by GM, Sales Manager, and/or Service Manager.
• Perform lot maintenance and maintain lot appearance in accordance with dealership standards.
  • Promptly clear vehicle inventory of snow during winter months.
  • Promptly clear (and salt) sidewalks and drives of snow during winter months.
  • Spray/clear lots of weeds.
  • Pick-up any garbage/debris on lot.
• Perform any tasks assigned as directed by management.

Other Basic Requirements:

• Maintain a customer-service approach/mentality.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
• Ability to multi-task and follow through with instructions. 
• Possess ability to perform daily duties independently.
• Maintain a positive and go-getter attitude.
• Ability to lift objects up to 50lbs.
• Ability to climb and crawl around vehicle interiors.
• Must have consistent and reliable transportation.
